I need an experienced sysadmin to create for me a script that installs and configures a secure SMTP server with authentications (DKIM, SenderID, etc.) on a Debian machine. To assist with writing this script I will provide you with access to a virtual machine instance identical to the production machine. The configuration should be for high-performance, high-reliability, and high-deliverability service, that would ensure that genuine email will not be falsely marked as spam in any of the main free webmails (gmail, yahoo, msn, etc) nor in any of the main anti-spam enterprise and personal software (e.g. spamassasin). The SMTP should be available via some secure channel, e.g. in a similar way to gmail's SMTP servers (SSL/TLS?) so that standard desktop email clients (such as Outlook) can send through it securely. Please specify in your bid comment: • How much time do you need to complete this? • Which additional measures (other than DKIM and SenderID) will you integrate in the SMTP server in order to ensure a maximum delivery percentage? • Which security method will you use and what will it require me to provide precisely (e.g. some certificate)? • Can you write the script in Python? If not, in which language do you prefer writing it?
