--Scope-- Create a Python command-line program capable of crawling and scrapping places information from Wikimapia Google Earth (KML) feed given a bounding box. The bounding box is defined by a pair of coordinates – longitude and latitude (decimal degrees) in WGS84 coordinate system – in the following format: (minimum longitude, minimum latitude), (maximum longitude, maximum latitude). --Preliminary Analysis-- Wikimapia provides a live feed to its database that can be invoked via calls like: [login to view URL],54.866329,24.942150,55.628986 A KML formatted response is given containing up to 50 Wikimapia places – see sample [[login to view URL]] attached. Each of these places are described – also but not only – by its geometry and a URL – contained in the ‘Description' tag - that points to a HTML page – see similar information from Wikimapia website [[login to view URL]] attached – containing relevant textual information about the place. If the KML response has 50 Wikimapia places, one should assume that Wikimapia database contains more places on that bounding-box. To retrieve the complete set of Wikimapia places for the required bounding-box it is then necessary to sub-divide the bounding-box into smaller bounding-boxes that fetch less than 50 places per request.
