**Tamil Translator (Singapore) – Subtitling & Closed Captioning (Freelance)** We are looking for an experienced **Tamil Translator based in Singapore** to support **Subtitling and Closed Captioning (CC)** projects on a freelance basis. **Scope of Work:** * Translate English content into Tamil for subtitles and closed captions. * Ensure accurate translation, localization, and cultural adaptation. * Create and/or review subtitles in accordance with industry standards. * Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper synchronization. **Requirements:** * Native proficiency in Tamil. * Must be currently based in Singapore or have experience in Singapore-based Tamil Projects. * Excellent command of English and Tamil. * Prior experience in Subtitling and Closed Captioning projects. * Familiarity with subtitle editing tools and captioning guidelines is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
