Universal Electric Lock and Hook

I am interested in working with an experienced industrial designer that has the ability to provide creative concepts for a universal locking system. This project includes the design of an electric lock enclosure and the mating part called the hook enclosure. The electric lock and hook hardware is already selected although the hook has 3 size options to choose from (designer to choose which ever one fits the concept best). The design will be for outdoor use so it will need to consider wet, dry, and freezing conditions. The design should consider the use of aluminum, cast zinc, and 3-D printed plastic for prototyping. The electric lock housing will accommodate a security cable or lanyard (estimated to be 4 mm diameter) which will be used to secure the electric lock to a rigid body. The hook design will be universal in that it can bolt to a flat surface or clamped around a shaft with a maximum diameter of 50 mm. The latching processes (connection of electric lock to hook) should be intuitive and guided so the operator does not struggle with alignment. The unlatching should be spring loaded and forcing apart the two mating parts. A small LED light will be included in the design with clearance for 3 mm diameter wire leading to the electric lock electrical cable for termination during assembly. The electric lock enclosure will include a strain relief for the 5 mm electrical cable to exit the enclosure. The electrical cable will be wrapped around the security cable so the location of the electrical and security cable should consider bending and flexing in this area.
Deliverables include:
• CAD models (step file format) of the mechanical design following concept and design approval
• Drawing package of the assembly, sub components, and fasteners
• Bill of Material
• 4 Rendered Images of the assembly together, separated, attached to a flat surface, and attached to a shaft
