We need your help in building a second iteration of a prototype our company is working on. We are currently in a healthcare business incubator program called Blueprint Health. It is a competitive, intensive program that ends with a "Demo Day" on October 4th where we pitch to investors and most of the companies get funded.
For Demo Day, a working prototype would go a long way in securing funding for our company. The device we are building is a patented smart pill bottle that uses an embedded capacitance sensor to determine the bottle's contents. The device then communicates the capacitance measurement via short range wireless technology to a base station that would communicate via 3G to our database. The purpose of the device is to track and improve medication adherence.
Like I said, we already have a crude, working prototype, but need to improve the precision of the capacitance readings and get it ready for mass production. If you're an expert in capacitors, electrical engineering or wireless technologies, and you're interested in working with us, please let me know as we're pushing to meet the Oct 4 deadline. We are focused first in optimizing the bottle shape/size for ideal capacitance measurement, then building out the wireless communication. I look forward to hearing from you.
