Re-design my thermal heat transfer device
The goal is the determine the appropriate thermal heat transfer design to achieve the maximum air-flow and pressurization of a high efficiency device that absorbs the exhaust heat of a forced air system.
The device is composed of tubes and fins which are designed in a unique way to uniformly absorb and radiate the exhaust heat effectively throughout the unit.
For over seven years, several prototypes of the device have been developed and tested.
Based on the application, the engineer will help to identify and confirm the best tube and fin design specifications to achieve the maximum (CFM) air-flow throughout the heater core and the most cost-effective tooling method as we examine the cost-effectiveness of various composite materials and as we identify the best thermal heat conductor materials which conform to military specs.
Thus, the overall quality and construction of the device should conform to military specifications for use as a Commercial Item.
Therefore, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Dynamics Engineering, Solidworks, CAD/CAM Design, Manufacturing & Industrial Product Design Engineering, Finite Element Analysis and Simulations skills and services, etc. are required.
