Hi, Albert here, from Philippines. Translating your text comes down to one thing: a translation that reads naturally and keeps the original meaning. I'm a translation specialist. I work with Translation and Content Creation. The real challenge is meaning over words: terms, tone and cultural references have to read naturally in the target language. A common issue: translating word for word, so the result is accurate but reads like a machine wrote it. My plan: first, agree a glossary of key terms and the target reader. Then, translate in batches and check each one against the source. Finally, proofread the full text for flow and consistency. I've done translation work before, so I check early for key terms translated inconsistently. A few questions to better understand the scope: 1. Should brand names stay untranslated? I list them in a glossary first, so they stay consistent. 2. Aim for natural reading over literal wording? I'd recommend it, while key terms stay exact. 3. Do readers know the source culture?
