I’m building a small hydraulic test rig and I want to master the entire Delta PLC + DIAView SCADA workflow while we bring the machine to life. I already have basic PLC programming skills, but SCADA is new territory for me, and I’m looking for a mentor rather than a “just-send-me-code” solution. System hardware on my bench • Delta PLC managing one hydraulic cylinder through a proportional speed valve • RS-485 indicators tied into the PLC for a 100 kg load cell and an LVDT position sensor Functional goals we’ll implement together 1. Auto-zero when the load cell reads 5 g 2. Capture and store position at 20 kg, 40 kg and 60 kg 3. Run three complete test cycles from a single START command 4. Allow pause / resume at any point in travel 5.
