Write some Software

windows installer needed We have a software product. We need a Windows installer to have some work done to it. We already have an installer made and 90% of it works correctly. The installer has been built with Advanced Bat to Exe Pro. So, your work will be done in this application. The batch file is only less than 150 lines long, its not very complex. Almost everything works, but I think there is a line somewhere that does not set an Environment Variable correctly, or something, as the installer needs to be run twice for it to install the software correctly. When it has been run twice, on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, it works. You will need to have Virtualbox installed on your machine. This software manages Virtualbox like Vagrant would. So, first you’ll run the installer (twice) on your own machine. I’ll give you access to our Git repo for the Infrastructure as code files, you type in a command, and the Virtual Machine will download an image and start, as you would expect if you were using Vagrant. The very important part is one. This is what the job covers. Ideally we want this done as soon as possible, a day or two. I imagine this task will probably take a good Windows engineer an hour or two, as I imagine it only involves changing a couple of lines. The rest of the items we still want, but they are not as important. Ideally someone can do this all in a day or two. Fix the installer so it installs in one run Nice to have additions 2) Only run as administrator, or require admin and run as admin 3) Allow choosing which applications to install (there are 7 applications currently, a switch case or if else so i can add more as we add applications would be good) Allow entering an email address and licence key, then changing the install command. All we need from you for this is for you to change the parameters that it inokes a command with. An extra line in an if statement will do fine If possible can we set up this exe file so it can be run from the command line with parameters? That would be great. Thanks all
