Bug Tracking Application
The overall purpose of the application is to provide a tool that can be used to aid the software development process. Essentially the product should be a system whereby a programmer, tester or developer can report a bug within a section of code and then
at a later date they or someone else can retrieve a report of bugs, fix them and update the system. The data should be stored in a database (a tutorial will cover how to connect to a database). It is up to you how you do this, as you are to design the
system. It may be that you store the whole code in a database or you link to your version control system (like SourceTree does). Your database should include information pertaining to the line/lines of code that contain the bug, the method,
class, source file, project. It should also have the name of the code author. Fixed bugs should have the name of the fixer and the date. Furthermore you should store an audit history of the bug, i.e. it may have been fixed several times but the code is still causing defects.
The application needs to be developed as a Windows Desktop Application, connected to a SQL Server Database using very simple coding.
