My name is Mr. Rene A. Ignacio. I am 52 years old. I graduated at Alief Hastings High School and studied electrical engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. I own two intellectual property games. They are called Chess Commando Paratroopers and Chess Transformables Six. I own both the copyrights and the registered trademarks for both games. The first one is the one I want to work on at his time. It is a card game that is played along with the board game of chess. I wish for you to help me develop the computer game version that can be played with two players in the popular game market scenes such as playstation, nintendo, and x-box, etcetara.
I have already paid to have the art work done for the cards, although I am open for suggestions to improve the art work. But really the instructions to the game is the major part of game which is what follows.
Chess Commando Paratroopers is a modified chess game with cards. To play this game, you must first know how to play chess.
The game is played with a set of Paratrooper cards per each deck:: 8 pawns, 2 knights, 2 bishops, 2 rooks, 1 queen, and 1 wild card which can be either a pawn, knight, bishop, rook, or queen.
It plays like chess except for the following modified rules.
1. Each time a player captures an opponent's piece, he draws a Paratrooper card from the top of his deck of cards. He shows this card to the opponent and places it on his side. Usually he does not show the card but for the computer version, of course, it needs to be shown.
2. Anytime a player's card matches a piece that has been captured, he can, on his turn, exchange that card for the corresponding piece and place the piece on an empty square.
This is the basics of the game with a few more additional rules. I wish to talk it over more and show you the graphics that has been done already.
I expect the project to be done in about three months time.
I am looking forward to talk to you soon.
