Create backups of our employees email boxes for security reasons on our company local centos server.
Our employees have many email boxes in yahoo, gmail and hotmail etc. For security reasons, I would like to have a copy of those mail boxes in our company server. The company does not have a mail server and does not wish to have one. We would like a web based client application that would serve as a backup for yahoo, gmail etc . Squirrelmail is a good example. This system will be used as a client mail application and not an actual mail server. This server will not receive mail, it wont be on an mx list and it wont be accessible from the internet but will have access to the internet like a regular pc. An administrator or a client can create accounts on the local server for backup purposes of their current email boxes that they have on gmail, yahoo etc... The admin can help a user to reset his password. On a daily basis, users may or may not use the local web based mail client to send emails or receive emails. On a daily basis, the server must synchronise all accounts locally. If an account can not be synchronized, an alert must be sent to the administrator.
