Customer is emailed a code which they have to enter before processing the order. The customer can access the site as normal, only when they add the product to basket and are about to complete the purchase this is where we want them to apply for a code to complete the purchase, we had the ability to stop the code at the back end previously so if anyone who has already applied for it cannot apply for it again and only we can restart from the backed, also we could stop the code completely from the backend - so when the customers applies for it, it would something like try again at our next launch.
