The application :
The application features two main components a portal for cost centers (tracking employees labor hours and downtime). and an administrative back-end for elevated users. The front end allows group leaders (overseeing assembly line workers) to quickly create a time card entry, track downtime for assembly lines, when the assembly line stops, it gets documented through a button that says stop for “X” reason. This is then reviewed later in the administrative back end. The goal is simply for the group leader to enter number of assembly line employees that day. If the assembly line stops, track the specific time and the reason why: and capture the number of employees affected. Tracking these numbers will help us determine how many employees were affected.
The back-end on the other hand consists of tools that enables the administrator to do various tasks such as configure general options to the entire system, employee management, time card management and report generation.
Reports generation will be cost centers (contain the employees) that were track down. I would like the admin panel to give me the ability to create new cost centers as needed.
