PrestaShop 1.6 newsletter block modification

For a PrestaShop 1.6 website we are using the newsletter pro module.

[url removed, login to view]

This module can register new subscribers via 2 different options:

1 - The native prestashop blocknewsletter module

2 - The newsletterpro subcribe block

Both don't work exactly how we want it:

1 - When using the native blocknewsletter module, the subscribers language is not communicated correctly. All subscribers are allways registered in default language, not the language they are viewing in during registration.

Also. The confirmation message apears on top of the website, while subscribe block is in footer.

2 - In the modules own subscribe block there is no problem with languages and the confirmation message apears in a popup. That is good.

The problem here is this:

When entering an e-mail and clicking the subscribe button (or enter), the popup that is used for confirmation opens. But it is in 2 steps. In step 1 the user can add more info and click subscribe, in step 2 there is the confirmation message.

=> We don't want the first step. Upon registration it should be instant confirmation.

So there are 2 solutions.

1. Make the native blocknewsletter also register correct language AND fix confirmation message to be in popup (OR ajax in same place as form)

2. Make the newsletterpro subscribe field and button skip the detailed subscribe form. Make it instant confirmation. (confirmation message should stay in popup)
