About the project:
-When someone goes to [url removed, login to view] I want this whole “top” layer gone. What I mean by this is that I am going to be selling three “base” systems that they can configure. The way CCC is setup right now is that they can choose specific systems below on [url removed, login to view] and then it punches them over into that category where they can specify AGAIN what system they want inside of that. I want to take this out completely where they have three options right off of [url removed, login to view], and depending on what one they click, it will take them to the appropriate configure ([url removed, login to view]) page of that specific system where they can start to configure.
-I do not want “Would you like pictures to be displayed?” presented. I want the pictures to be displayed if I have it set to “yes” in the admin area. I do not want the customer to have any control of choosing whether pictures are shown or not.
-I want the capabilities of having drop down menu, ratio buttons or checkmark boxes depending on the category. By default, everything is set to drop down menu except for the “extended warranty” and “charge for build” which is ratio buttons for ccc 9.3. I want to be able to specify within the admin section of oscommerce/ccc what categories specific to the system that I am editing to choose from either drop down, ratio buttons or checkmark boxes. Each category (such as processor, motherboard, harddrives, software, etc) I can edit to be drop down, ratio buttons or checkmark boxes. (I can choose within admin section) ***The reason for this is that I may find a category to be more appealing if it has ratio button capabilities rather than a drop down menu. I will also have a category such as “software” or “accessories” that I would want the customer to be able to click one, two, or fifteen products/checkboxes depending on what they need, and it will add the appropriate amount to the total. If chosen to be ratio or checkmark boxes, the add/subtract price will be next to the product name as shown from the picture below:
Example with text: [url removed, login to view]
-Concerning the “more info” little buttons that people can push, I want them to act the same as they do now with dropdown menu and ratio buttons (if they select product A, and click “more info” it will say something about product A, if they select product B and click “more info” it will say something about product B. ***with checkmark boxes, if they have product A checked and product C checked, and they click “more info” for that category, in the “more info” box that pops up will display information pertaining to product A and product C. If no checkmark boxes are selected and they click “more info” something like “no products have been selected for this category”. If they click product A, product C, and product G, and they click “more info” it will have information pertaining to product A, product C, and product G.
Any questions please be extremely specific so that you can better understand what I need done as I do expect each and every single one of these requests to be covered successfully. Please only bid on this project if you fully understand the project at hand and are capable of completing the project. I suggest that you install oscommerce and the ccc 9.3 to get the inside workings and admin section so that you fully understand it. Thanks.
