I need a wordpress plugin that pulls in product information from the Prosperent API and creates posts under my Custom post type. This is an admin plugin only. Here is a walkthrough:
Admin logs in and goes to the plugin screen. The plugin should store some settings like API Key.
There is a select pull down that has all the merchants that have datafeeds in the Prosperent network. The admin selects one, and also has the option to choose a product category (from the prosperent API). This will narrow the results down by merchant, and THEN by category. So far we have two pulldown form elements:
- Choose a Merchant
- Choose a Product Category (that are listed for that merchant) OR all
* two API Calls
The page should then show all the products for that merchant. In a simple grid layout. Showing 100 products (will need pagination *There is API Support for this). The point is that we can quickly see all the products from the merchant.
For each product that is listed, the admin should see a small image, name of the product, price, a way to assign a category to this product, a link that opens up in a new window and button that says "add product". Again the idea is that the admin can quickly see all the products from the merchant, and add them as a custom post type quickly without refreshing the screen. Perhaps there is a better way to add multiples if they are going into the same category.
Once the product is added, it should be ignored from future queries. This is a pretty straightforward project, but please ask questions if you have any.
