Need a custom website built. Front and back end development. The website consists of three main parts.
First, the homepage is the search engine that is dedicated to providing quality and specific results to users. The search results should display outside content. Ideally, the search engine would crawl the web, however, for the time being we are comfortable having the search engine crawl content stored on the website from approximately 10,000+ outside sources. The search engine should also search the forum on our website. We are open to recommendations and different solutions for this portion.
Second, the forum. This will be a large online community specific to the theme of the website. This section should model Reddit ([login to view URL]) in its functionality. Forum will have user profiles, sub-communities, user feeds, etc. The upvote/downvote feature of Reddit is essential.
Third, is a visual discovery engine that is intended to provide curated content based upon the users' profiles. This section should model Pinterest ([login to view URL]) in its functionality.
With a signed NDA, we will release more detailed information and concept design. We would like to develop a long term relationship with someone who can build and assist with the website moving forward. We would like project completed ASAP. Thanks!
