We are a software development company based in Chicago. We are a small team that is very passionate about building digital products. We are currently looking for an experienced PHP & JS Developer with knowledge of Laravel, Vue.js, and test-driven development. This person should be self-motivated and loves solving problems, is a creative and critical thinker. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the grit and stomach for working at an early stage start-up. 2+ years’ experience with PHP 1+ years’ experience with Vue.js 1+ years’ experience with Laravel EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - Strong in OOP's Concept and implementation - Advanced knowledge in PHP 7 and Laravel - Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript - Basic knowledge of RDBMS, add on MySQL. - Experience in unit testing and functional testing in PHP and Javascript. - Experience with Git and SVN. - History/knowledge of successful development workflows. - Strong critical thinking skills. - Good communication and writing skills. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to adapt to changes quickly. - Ability to work autonomously with little oversight - Good problem-solving skills - Attention to detail WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING - Developing front end website architecture - Designing user interactions on web pages - Developing back end website applications - Creating servers and databases for functionality - Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones - Ensuring responsiveness of applications. - Working alongside graphic designers for web design feature - Seeing through a project from conception to finished product - Designing and developing APIs - Meeting both technical and consumer needs
