Jquery, AJAX - Auto Complete/Suggest Search functionality

The website requiring modification is: [login to view URL] . I need to add auto-suggest to the search form (top right). Needs to work like this site: [login to view URL] Here are the clients notes: Intuitive 1. The search bar finishes your words (including understanding misspellings). Continues to drill down the list as you type. 2. Ex: if someone searches “22” or “.22," it should return ALL products that include the number “22” in the product title, or product description, or has 22 as the caliber in the caliber field that comes over from Sports South, or that we have tagged with the .22 caliber tag. 3. Drop-down list · Shows all the options for the search term in a drop-down list. Also, it underlines and bolds the searched word in the product options it returns in the drop-down lists. · Displays results in 2 sections (appears to be based on the product titles AND descriptions) · 5 Popular search results – based on all historic searches. Smart - makes connections of historic searches, AND allows us to make connections (popular brands, popular products, etc) · 5 Product search results – everything that matches the key words LASTLY, on the search results page would like to modify the filters as follows: * Add same auto suggest features as above to 'Search' field on results page * Extend filters so that # of products next to brand can be displayed, & # of products next to price levels can be displayed
