Our software (Better Proposals) allows users to build and send web based proposals/quotes to their clients and get them digitally signed, so in a normal sales process timeline it sits right between a CRM and project management software. For this reason, we'd like to integrate it with Zapier in order to allow our users to perform three actions:
1. Perform a search in their CRM
2. Grab a contact from their CRM and add it to our software
3. When a proposal is signed in our software, trigger an event in their project management software.
These three actions are workflows that the user will set up in their Zapier account so what this job entails is creating an authentication process in our software which allows users to connect their Zapier account directly. And I believe we also need to set up the "triggers" so that Zapier knows what they are.
For example, we set up a trigger for 'search contacts' so the user can go into their Zapier account and say "when I trigger 'search contacts', search my CRM".
Or another example is we set up a trigger for 'add project' so they can say "when I trigger 'add project', add a new project to my project management system".
