I would like a developer to create a method of achieving the following;
Comparing 3 or 4 major grocery stores (aldi, lidl, morrisons & tescos) products to establish the best value for money item
the user will select a generic product type, such as 'Value Large cheddar cheese' and the system will populate their shopping cart with the appropriate item.....Ie the cheapest product. Another example may be 'Premium Large cheddar cheese' this time the product selected would be a premium brand (of course, the cheapest premium brand available)
at the end of the shop, the user will be shown a total for each individual grocery store and will be advised of the saving they have made by using our service.
The system needs to be fast, as simple as possible and able to be easily updated when new product information is downloaded from the supermarket sites.
Ideally I do not want to create a shopping cart system from scratch so I am welcome to suggestions of modifying already established carts such as Magento etc.....
Please submit your solution asap.
