Frontend developer with React Expertise

We're looking for a brilliant UI/UX Front End champion having expertise in React.js to take ownership of the UI part of our platform, as well as integrating it with the backend. Note: I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A WEBSITE DESIGNER!! You must have experience working on complex web applications. If your portfolio is all WordPress website design work, please do not apply. Your primary focus will be on 1) (From scratch) Designing and Developing pixel perfect end-to-end web user interface using React 2) Integrating and testing your developed frontend with the backend RESTful APIs (API documentation will be provided to you) You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust, performant and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team responsible for the backend side the product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product are important. You will need to have the following skills : --------------------------------------------------- - Experience with React.js application framework and Javascript, Bootstrap - Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model - Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles - Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) - Integration of frontend (developed by you) with REST APIs (provided to you) - Experience using Git - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Responsibility : ------------------- - Create wireframes for the provided user flow - Develop a fresh user interface design from scratch ( You can use a web template if you like ) - Develop the user interface components using React.JS, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS - Must write clean, efficient code and lightweight design. - If you are using a template, then the code base should only have the required files/components, not all the clutter. - The developed front-end must be optimized for performance (slow laggy UI is not acceptable) - If you are reading this, then while submitting your proposal for this project write a code word "Elephant" in the subject line. (This is to check if you are really serious for this job) - Work with the backend engineering team to determine and implement solutions for future product and website features - Conceptualize ideas to bring simplicity to the interfaces - Must be available for daily meetings (10 Mins) to share daily updates/demo/feedback - Join meetings with stakeholders to demo your work and gather feedback on it. - Bring a passion for UI design and best practices Additional Information : ----------------------------- - The project will be divided into milestones and you will be paid after every successful milestone - Please send your portfolio with your previous web application React/UI/UX work. - Should be able to work in a team.
