I am 46 years old and have manage a laboratory at Johns Hopkins University for 23 years. I have 3 masters degrees ( MS Biotechnology, MS Biomedical Engineering, MS Technical Management). I have basic knowledge of electronics.
About the Project:
Developing an affordable laboratory automation device based on open source hardware and software. It is a 4 axis DC motion control application. The electronics include DC power source, controller board, LCD interface, illuminated power button, and DC-AC relay. The motors and optical endstops are all working. The power switch works but the illumination is not. The relay output is always on even though the input is being switched. I will need to eventually seek UL and CE certification. Looking for someone to help with the immediate issues and advise on the electronics for certifications.
There is a professional conference at the beginning of February. I need help getting the illuminated power switch and relay working by then and any certification or safety concerns addressed. Future plans are to start a business within the next year. Future work will be needed.
