I am in need of a fairly simple web extension that is compatible in at least, Firefox, Chrome & Edge. The processes of the web extension are: 1) On browser start create 1 hidden window (or iframe) that can run JavaScript. This should not be duplicated to prevent multiple windows / iframes) & must be completely invisible & launch automatically every start. 2) Load a webpage within that iframe / window which will be persistent for the length of time that the browser is open. 3) Create a floating banner on the active tab that the user is on at the bottom of the page, E.g. "Share This Page On Twitter" Preferably the Javascript that is used to manage the content above should be loaded from an external URL (or from the hidden window in step 1) so that it can be remotely updated if possible.
