Build a Website

This project aims to hire a freelancer to the maintenance of an existing website of a doctoral program. The freelancer is expected to: - install, configure and maintain components that could be of use for the website (e.g. see goal 1) - ensure high degree of usability in the overall website and its features (e.g. see goal 2) - add content provided by the hirer (text, photos, news) - e.g. see goal 3 Project goals: (1) install and configure Community builder component (or equivalent), so that website users can register and have their own profile - hirer will detail fields to be included. (2) create module on homepage that loads recent news from existing category(ies), based on the custom code currently in there (not loading automatically once new articles are added) (3) add recent news based on texts and photos provided by the hirer These are just the initial goals. Further goals and respective milestones will be created as more work is necessary in the website, namely as we receive more requests from the doctoral program board. Important: we are looking for a long-term commitment in the maintenance of this website, someone that can be responsible for this website moving forward. Freelancers that prefer short-term assignments must not bid. Overall work load is expected to be: - about 30h in the first week (till the end of January) - about 5h per month, from February onwards - Special assignments may come along, but workload is unpredictable at this point Job will be open for bids for 24h, so no rush in bidding. Freelancer will be selected on Tuesday 24/01 after 23:59 CET. Freelancer will be selected based on portfolio and rate per hour.
