I have a book manuscript in Docbook-Lite format, which contains code examples. I need to retrieve the code examples from the manuscript and save each one as a separate file. This is a simple bit of XML wrangling, or (if you prefer) just some brute force text editing. There are multiple chapters to the book, with each one containing up to ten examples. The examples are entity encoded, which will need to be reversed, and have an example name associated. Attached to this bid request is an example of one of the chapters. The code examples are within the elements.
