Ashenbrook Online is a MMORPG currently being developed. This job posting is for the creation of a template and main logo graphic only for our website. We will do all the backend coding on our own. We are looking for something that looks great, is functional, graphically fast loading, and clean.
As far as the technical specs are concerned, the template coding will need to use CSS and be xhtml compliant. There should be no tables used for formatting at all, only CSS.
On the most basic of levels, the overall layout of the template should be a 3 column layout, with the ability to disable the right column/s and have the center column/s extend out to fill the rest of the page. At first, the website will be acting in two column mode, with navigation and other utility column on the left, and the main content box in the middle. Later on we may decide to include the right column boxes. So the entire template should be coded such that we can create as many left, middle, and right columns as we want by simply creating a div element and giving it a class from the css file.
The template should display correctly on all modern browser platforms.
With your bid and/or questions, please provide a portfolio of previous websites you have designed. Also note if you will be able to provide some sort of concept sketch/render of your idea for the website template design, as this will be important in our being able to make a decision and get the design we are looking for.
