Seeking someone to modify a Wordpress theme that I purchased.
I've installed the theme here at [login to view URL], while I like the theme there are a few things that I need help with:
The following tasks are for the galleries functionality of the theme. Here's a sample gallery: [login to view URL]
1) I need this gallery to always show the full image, if a person's browser is not the exact dimensions, I need it to resize properly. It kind of works, but the bottom of the images tends to be cropped off. If the aspect ratio of a person's browser is not right for the image, I need it to make the image as large as possible without cropping and make any new "space" created white behind the image. This must work on mobile, ipads, and any screen/browser.
2) I need to modify the code that is creating this gallery so it adds some SEO appropriate information as well, i.e. ALT Tags to the images in the gallery, I'd like it to display additional information about an image as well just a little credit about who is in the image, where it was taken, etc.
3) I need to modify the code that is creating this gallery so that it loads images progressively and opens up the first image as soon as it is loaded, not wait for all the images to download. These galleries will have 30-60 images in them, and if it waits to download them all, the website visitor will leave the site.
4) I need to modify the code so that it serves the appropriate size image for a visitor's screen size - right now it will serve a 2000pixel x 2000pixel image for a mobile phone. It should serve an appropriate sized image for this.
5) Make the galleries swipe friendly on mobile phones.
Other tasks:
1) Make the site logo larger.
2) Make sure since this site uses AJAX to load the pages, that it is serving the appropriate information for SEO. (i.e. appropriate keywords, page descriptions, etc).
3) Build an AJAX splash loading notification. So when someone FIRST visits the site, as the page is loading, my logo shows up in the middle of the page (through animation) with a black background and a small loading icon will appear. Then fly off when the page is ready. This shouldn't happen though, when people go from page to page (via ajax).
I have a budget of $100 for this project.
