Have recently set up a new web site job board with Wordpress and a purchased theme. The theme has been modified by myself, as I know detailed HTML/CSS/JQuery and some PHP, however I find myself unable to rectify an issue with a Form on the site.
This issue was there when the theme was purchased and a clean install of both Wordpress and the Theme, however the companies support team are useless and are yet to reply to my questions about fixing it.
Basically, a user logs into the web site and can post a project on the site. They are presented with a Form to fill out where certain details are needed to submit the form.
One of the areas of the form, based around relevant stats for the project doesn't send the information to the database. The information isn't saved for this section, and remains blank. The rest of the form works perfectly, and submits to the database.
If the post is edited in the back end of wordpress by an admin, the information appears to save to the database and is then displayed in the post page. However, I need it to submit to the database directly from the form.
As far as I know, with my skills in web development, this should be a relatively simple fix. However I have stared blankly at the code for the past few hours and I think I need someone to take a fresh approach to it.
The budget for this is around $30USD.
Exact details and log in info will be sent when a freelancer is approved. Cheers.
