I am a Financial Controller in a hotel with access to VB6 where I have been writing a VB6 "front end" to a database that I want to use to control deposits and bookings we ask of the future guests.
I want to produce reports in an Excel format from the database in a "table" layout and use the same details to produce standard letters in Word to the guests off the same database. From using software with a previous company I know this is possible but I am not sure how.
I guess I am looking at "dumping" the whole database into a hidden sheet in excel from which I can set up and run macros? Word, I am lost on.
Any Ideas?
