Requiring a Portal with a twist

I require a very specific portal for towns in my country. This project primarily focuses on the small hard to reach places you never find. Updates must depend on us. SECTION 1 - Portal All standard portal features as shown here -News -> 10 or so categories -Classifieds - must show how many listings are available -Newspaper Adverts -> banner rotation -Calendar -Guestbook -Polls -Contacts - 4 forms at the most -Directories -must show how many listings are available -Coupons SECTION 2 Then the second relies on the development of a database where I can create the fields for the client so that they can update their own data. There is no advanced programming required, simple product catalogs and NO E-COMMERCE is required, orders will be emailed etc if at all. The facilty to design the tools for report etcs. must be available so that they may use the database for their own purposes. Realtors, car dealers etc must be able to use this system. Please note this must also apply for documents to be inserted lie PDF's or spreadsheets or flash files to be added or attached to the database. We will create the client account our side on the server. He will the be able to do is uploads on his own specific folder The client can then upload his website to our servers and make updates as required. Requirements: We design a template in Frontpage or the Datase Backend you develop where the HTML code of the design can be pasted into. All relevant data can then be displayed with tags to call the data. The system must be Drag and Drop capable. Especially for the News section, Classifieds and Directories. The developer must ensure that software is compatible with Omnipage 14 from Scansoft. The pictures from Omnipage must be able to be dropped into a DB. We primarly use PDF's so we are open for suggestions. The search facility must be able to selectable for a site wide search or just the specific town. There must be left room avaible for adaptions or addons ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
