Hi, I require a proxy server that can sit between a poker client and its server and transparently log/interpret the traffic passing through it. This cannot be used for cheating (since only cards that have already been played will be visible), but can be used to track player personalities, etc. There are two parts of this project: (1) the proxy, plus a simple API that I can use to connect to it, (2) code that interprets the messages for one or more poker sites (ideally Aspinalls and Party Poker). The software need handle only texas Hole 'Em, not other types of poker. I require only a simple front-end, sufficient to demonstrate that the proxy works. I will add my own client software to interpret the stats gathered by the proxy. Please indicate in your bid any experience of writing proxy or logging software, and in particular any software related to poker. Also please say what language you intend to use, and if you are planning to reuse any existing components, any licencing restrictions these may have. Note that, as a coder myself, I expect a very high standard of implementation and commenting. In particular, a modular OO design should be used that will make it easy for me to maintain and extend in the future (for example, to snap-in support for other poker sites). Thanks, Matthew
