1st. Build a system that will retrieve fund prices from web site and feed accounting program. The user will pay for this data and will need to be activated or turned on before data transfer.
2nd. Part 1. Build Accounting program that will display 10 fund prices, year to date and monthly returns and track the users investments. The user will choose an allocation that could be spread out over the 10 funds or any combination. The users money will be invested 100% of the time. They could have any combination of allocations spread over the 10 funds. Once they have sellected their allocation the return in percent will display as well as a graph. This will require a start and end date with fund prices from a data base. When the mouse moves over the graph it will display the date and fund price. When 2 locations are sellected on the graph a calculation occures with percent gain and number of days. This allows the user to study cycles from low to high inside the graph.
Part 2.
The user will enter their approx balance in a data box and the program will track their earnings year and month to date with a graphic display. Their data will be entered in the allocation data box as decribed above. The accounting program will need a pass word entry and ability for the users data to store in their computer only with easy access and edit funtions.
