Social Networking Website Development Required

A Joomla Programmer is required for next phase development of this web project aimed at schools. The

project includes user created digital stories uploaded primarily by teachers (to include video,

photo essays and possibly other formats). The site is currently designed and live with

minimal data capturing implemented using the J-User module with Joomla 1.5.7

Requirements for project completion include:

Phase 1:

· teachers to create student project teams

· teachers to submit projects for student teams

· students to register for specific teams based on teacher submissions

· student registration detail updates added to teacher landing page

· all registered users (teachers, students, parents etc.) to be able to log into profile, view

projects, identify favorites and vote for "viewers choice" awards

· favorite projects and information about voting to be automatically added to user profile

page

· utilize Joomla user database

· create or modify existing Joomla components, modules, plug-ins

Phase 2:

· submitted projects (in a variety of digital formats) to be automatically added to a gallery

(converted to .flv where possible)

Wireframes and flow have been created with support package available. Sothink's serverside

video encoder with SDK for video conversion may also be supplied if required.
