Review site with members database needed

So far, we have a generic template design in place so that we could get a feel for the website. But we would like to re-vamp the design to make it look more professional, as well as adding a working membership registration / login page, that leads to a members-only area. This will therefore need a database to store the members in it.
The current site is at [url removed, login to view] and has a working forum, and generic template in place, but no working members registration or database area.
We would also be interested in hearing from those who could set up the registration page / membership database on the existing site template, as that is what is most urgently required.
