We want to build a web app that provides website analysis. The user will provide the business name, business url and we will supply data in a report.
We will be using Google, Yahoo, and Bing APIs as well as other resources to provide data about a website.
For example, we want to show some site metrics:
Domain Expiration Date
Sitemap (Yes or N0).
Number of Indexed Pages (in Google)
Number of Inbound Links
We also need to grab the sites keywords, from meta and title tags and show how they rank for those keywords in Google, Yahoo and Bing.
This can be similar to what you have done with [url removed, login to view]
Finally, we need to search Google Maps and display the business name and location. Grab the categories they use on Google Maps (Google Places) and check their rankings on Maps.
Here is a sample report on a site that shows some of this data:
[url removed, login to view]
As that report shows it should also show competitors (3 or 5) and their rankings.
Data should be provided in an easy to process format that is clean with graphs and looks updated (web 2.0 style). Your instantrankmeter site is excellent at this. The [url removed, login to view] doesn't do as well.
We want to use the official apis as much as possible.
