Project will be for the very basic framework of a website to allow management of IT Technician Profiles and Dispatch Job assignments. In it's very basic form it provides functionality for: 1) COMPANY VISITORS can go to the website (public) and can search a directory listing by postal code or clicking a map of British Columbia to locate a TECHNICIAN in their area Example: Visitor clicks on southern vancouver island ([login to view URL]) and sees there are 3 technicians in that area of Victoria, British Columbia with profiles Once the visitor clicks on the map marker, he can view that TECHNICIAN's profile (developer could use [login to view URL] or other code to allow google map integration) Here is an example of how the results should look when an area is selected. [login to view URL] Instead of a drop down for states in the US, it would lead to a drop down of Cities in British Columbia AND a map showing that allows you to pick an area. Here are the top cities. abbotsford, bc cariboo, bc comox valley, bc cranbrook, bc kamloops, bc kelowna, bc nanaimo, bc peace river country, bc prince george, bc skeena, bc sunshine coast, bc vancouver, bc victoria, bc whistler, bc If you plan to bid, please provide at least 1 sample (demo) page of a similar functionality page you have built or in rough draft, how you expect to complete the task and what programming language or platform you plan to use. I am a custom developer and can build this lookup system for you. I would build in PHP and combine it with Curl/Ajax lookups so that it looks really clean. I would simply need a database of everyone and I can lookup GEO Codes and place them on maps and can then build the lookups based on information in the database.
