Hi everyone, I want to hire someone to build my website and CMS for my new e-commerce company. Needs to be able to handle hundreds of simultaneous users and auction listings. I need it to include the following: User Features (What the Customers See) 1. User registration and account verification 2. Buying bids in bulk through packages 3. Bidding in Swoopo / Bidray / BidCactus style format. Pre-purchase bids and bidding on items in +$0.01 increments and +XXsecond increments (VERY IMPORTANT: bid price and bid time extension needs to be flexible) 4. Members can login, update their account, purchase more bids and pay for their auctions won 5. Use paypal as the payment gateway by defautl, but have ability to add other payment gateways (i.e. Google checkout) 6. Users can receive free bids for registering, winning their first auction, refering a friend that purchases bids, and buying certain bid packages. 7. User can use the "Bid Buddy" / "Bid Assistant" / "Bid Butler" (automated bidding system) to book their bids in advance. Bid assistant must be able to set a high price, # of bids willing to use, and a starting bid price. Administrator Features: POWERFUL built-in CMS that can 1. Add, edit, delete and clone auctions 2. Add, edit, delete articles for latest news page / about us / FAQ 3. Full product inventory; ability to have unlimited bid auctions 4. WYSIWYG Editor 5. View the winning bidder and update the status of the auction – e.g. pending, running, ended and completed 6. View, edit, add, delete and suspend users 7. View users bidding history, purchased bid packages, add free bids to the user and refund bids for the user 8. Manage website content via an internet connection 9. Have a referral section, that allows admin to view referrals from users and give free bids to members for referring a friend that purchase a bid package. 10. Built in SEO 11. Manage product categories, add/edit/delete new categories which can be unlimited. 12. Edit general website settings including turning on/off features 13. SMS capabilities and features 14. Iphone App to be able to place bids via phone 15. Newsletter system / capabilities 16. Ability to provide a "Seat" penny auction bid. An email will go out to users to participate in a rare auction. Only XX many users will be allowed to participate if they purchase a "seat" for $X.XX. Once all seats are sold; the auction can start at the specified time and the bids can be used to purchase the item. 17. Manageable database I envision project as not a "one-time" project, but I'm looking to see who can offer continues web design support as the business grows and expands.
