We have a busy Zen Cart store with regular orders. We need a system that integrates MySql orders with Microsoft Access.
We would need a new, Microsoft Access database created to suit our order system with a full set of customer order details, pulled directly from MySql..... customers name, order number, order details, notes, wedding date, address, prices, etc., etc.,...
The MsAccess database must also have a way of allowing us to group orders into specific weeks. For example, if we wish to group a set of orders into a particular week (say week commencing the 3rd of September, 2012) then we need a simple way of organising each order into a calendar structure. Each week could have a hundred or so orders but we need a way of manually telling Access which week each order will be worked on. It's so our production staff can have an organised structure to the work rota each week. Furthermore, the orders grouped into each week must be organised in order of the wedding date, from closest date to farthest away.
We need Access to add each new order, automatically as they are placed online by the customers, real time.
