Event Scheduler website where non registered users have limited access to events' list and Google map locations associated with created events. Whereas the registered users can: Create new events, edit/delete/modify their created events, receive notifications on his/her email and Facebook email whenever a newly created event is located in his/her own city of residence. Main page content: Google Map with all events in 2 coming weeks time frame. Events are shown as clickable red pinpoints on the map.. once clicked, event info is displayed in a popup cloud on the map (some of the event info are displayed with "more.." in the end). Interactive list of events based on the chosen day by the user (2 weeks time frame). Login/Register box on the right pane. The box content changes when the user is logged in to display: My events, Create event, and My profile. ------------------- User Registration page: Register new users with the following fields (* = required) *username. *password. (+re-enter) *email (required for activation). Facebook ID. Twitter ID. *Country - city *Captcha. (2 checkboxes are shown asking the user whether he/she likes to receive email and/or FB messages notifications when a created event matches his/her city of residence) .... Then beneath this, terms and conditions are shown.. then "Register" button (then profile is pended until email activation is performed) ------------------- Event Details Page: Date and location Google map showing the location General notes on the event. (text field) things to bring to the event (text area) URL (text field) "Publish" button ------------------- My Profile page: Shows user info with ability to modify: password, email (re activation req.), FB ID, Twitter ID, notification receiving preferences, Country, and City. ------------------- My Events page: (for registered users). Displays the events created by the user. Each event can be edited or deleted. When editing the event, the "event creation page" will be shown populated with the previously entered data, and the user has the ability to modify any field. Once the user presses "publish" button, the previous event stored in the database will be deleted and the new event will be inserted in the DB as a new event. In case the event was to be deleted, a confirmation pop up is displayed. ------------------- Contact us page.. ------------------- ****** Social Sites integration: Twitter, Google Plus, Facebook Like button is displayed in the footer of the whole website. FB share button and Twitter tweet button are displayed in the event details page. Once a new event is created: - a notification will be sent to all users with matching city who agreed to receive such notifications during registration. Also, when an event is modified or deleted, notifications will be sent as well. - The event, through FB APIs, will be inserted in our Facebook page's calendar. All events alterations (modify, deletion) should be reflected in this FB page (through API accordingly). ******** Site owners should have a control panel where they can assign different roles to users, and manage the whole site content.
