We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented developer who can work closely with us to develop a suite of new e-commerce travel websites. The ideal candidate would have experience building large and user friendlycontent management system and cutting edge interactive sites.
- Perform a technical analysis of requirements
- Produce a solid, detailed technical proposal
- Write clean code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision
-Build a robust CMS that can be frequently updated by our office staff
- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
- Strong SEO skills
Our site will list different activities, accommodation, and packages for several different locations. First, in Europe, and then expanding to other areas. We have drawn out several sketches, and have pretty much decided "what we want".
We are now looking for a developer to put the cms and code together, and to turn the sketches into actual designs. We would ideally prefer to define the scope of work and time frame and then set monthly milestones and payments based on hitting same. We have thought out a lot of the functionality, and now need to prioritize what will be included in each phase.
I have attached a document of what we have defined so far, as well as some (very rough) sketches, and old design files which we think we have since refined in the planning process. It would probably be easier to talk through the sketches as some elements have been left blank as they are recurring, etc.
What recommendations would you make for this project?
Please let me know if you are interested, and if you need any more information to make a more detailed proposal.
