Amred, funded by USAID and UNHCR, is now developing a comprehensive package of database for our redevelopment program. We have complete sets of non-relational data, which must be linked and integrated altogether so that they can be utilized for program implementation use.
Around 40-50 institutions are now developing various projects in 10-12 sectors (which are: Livelihood, Education, Water and Sanitation, Community Health, etc.). Each institution has records of Logo (picture), Name, Address, Telephone, Contact Person Name, Contact Person Photo, Contact Person E-mail and Contact Person Telephone Number.
Each of sectors is being implemented in 6 districts. Each district has "subdistrictID" (which is not random and not autoincrement), district leader information (Name, Address, photo).
Subdistrict consists of 20-30 villages, of each has villageID (also NOT random and NOT autoincrement) and village leader information (Name, Address and photo).
We also hold sets of data of local government (executive and legislative boards). All have name, address, telephone number records. Mention that: Executive boards also consist of district leaders, and people have common names (i.e. Ramli, without any family name).
Database will be served online, server will be running on Windows Server with Apache2, MySQL and php. Desired interface on how the database and php interact with users is like a search engine form, that user can search for records using keyword or full text searching. For example, when a user type "toilet", which returns list of organizations --along with their logo, name, address, contact person (without photo) and everything else in summary-- doing things related to "toilet". There should also be a collapse/expand "show" button (to get details of "toilet"-related projects and to hide them), a "detail" button (to open a new window with detail info related with "toilet") and a "modify" button to edit the records.
As there is a need to protect the records from unauthorized
modification, we require that the database has 3 types of permission granted: READ-ONLY for all users, LIMITED-WRITE for authorized personnel in each organization taking role in our projects, so that he/she can modify records of his/her organization only, and FULL-WRITE for personnel in Amred.
Record shall also be able to be printed out/saved in pdf file format, and/or e-mailed to e-mail address(es).
There is also a need to provide a general login page, where authorized
users can enter their credentials and come into a page specific to
their organization's record. Using this login page, they can
modify/update/delete more records, rather than using edit button
provided in search results.
You are required to provide a skeleton of database for above purpose with dummy data. Due to our non-disclosure policy, we cannot release any information and data we currently have to third party until further notice.
