need a very reliable application built to sync a directory on one server to a target ftp server location.
the app will be installed on the host server and run as a service, it must be able to run on a win 2003 web server. the service must be able to recover fro reboots, shutdowns and other interuptions.
the items that are ftp'd are images and documents.
your service must have ui screens that let the user set as a config, the target server ftp info and user/pass, and port.
I would like to us .net 1.1 for this since the host server already has this installed but if you can make a strong case for this to be in .net 2.0 then i am open to listening.
The app/service must have an installer/uninstaller and will have text/app name/ install directory all named what we specify to you after porject acceptance.
you will need to use filesystemwatch so that the ftp is triggered automatically when new files are droped into the directory, you should also detect new folders and other file sys changes.
I would like to see a log be integrated into the app so we can see what is moved and when, we also want to see if something is in progress on the ui screens.
tell me you time and cost and reason you are good at this task
