Enclosed is a sample project to show an autoscroll combobox. I would like to make this into an active x control. The only changes to be made from the enclosed project and the completed one is to fix the flaws with the current one. Here are the properties, methods, and events needed for this:
Properties:
1. top
2. left
3. width
4. height
5. enabled
6. visible
7. sorted
8. tag
9. text
10. list
11. listcount
12. listindex (show the number chosen). If nothing chosen, then -1
13. tabindex
14. tabstop
15. container
Methods:
1. additem
2. refresh
3. clear
4. tabindex
5. removeitem
6. zorder
Events:
1. gotfocus
2. keypress
Should behave similar to the first combobox on the project where as someone types in the information, it picks the appropriate one. The style will be a simple combobox. There are 2 flaws I am aware of that needs to be fixed as well. The second combobox I just have to show the original one so you can see the difference. If the text is blank, then the scroll should be on the top like the second combo box. Also, someone for example, clicks an item, the textbox needs to be filled in with the item selected. If the text is highlighted and they hit the backspace, all the text should be gone. Otherwise, it should just remove one of the characters. Let me know if you have any questions.
## Deliverables
1. The compiled ocx and the source code for the control. The ocx can be in any language as long as it can be interfaced with Visual Basic.
2. The source code only for the sample VB application to show how to use this.
## Platform
Windows 2000, Windows XP
