Simulation of Encoding project

The main purpose of this project is to find a solution for the streaming videos that affects the quality of the video and the audio. This is done by using the buffer management algorithms available in this field and posting one filter say buffer at the sender side to send the data. Various parameters that are taken into account like bandwidth, packet loss, end-to-end delay and delay jitter to find a solution for these video coders.

Many encoders and decoders are available that are used to solve particular problems. For sending videos on the internet or any network, an encoder has been developed so that when sending large amount of data over the network it will take less time and consume less bandwidth as it does earlier. This encoder is developed using the scalable coding scheme as proposing solution to streaming videos and audios. Also TCP protocol is being used to send data over the network and will test and shows that the data send using this technique is helpful.

Using the MPEG 4 and [url removed, login to view] cells, tests are carried out to show that this above technique is effective on these video coders. The graphs obtained from the tests make it clear that using this encoder the quality of the video and audio file can be stored and will make it fast available for use.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

## Platform

**Project Description:**We have to make an encoder which help in transporting the big and the small files (video and audio files) over the network without much delay.

**Any particular plat form (languages etc):**Preferably C/C++Java.

**End Results:** Graphs, Simulation results showing different parameters obtained by MPEG 4 and [url removed, login to view] cells using NS2.

**Use of Open source libraries:**You can use any open source libraries to build this encoder.

**Project Completion maintenance:**After completion 5 -10% amendments applies if required.
