PROGRAMMER -- VISUALBASIC 9 For DATABASE PROGRAM
Visual Basic 9 updated.
Windows 7 updated.
(IBM DB2 database. With IBM DB2 add-ins for Visual Studio. Download free.)
Familiarity (not programming ability) with databases. (DB program already written.)
(I will supply the VB9 programming for database access and manipulation.)
Update existing VB6 use/presentation tables and forms.
XML using .XSD for communication of information to others. Transforms. HTML for presentation. Ability to move data from XML to regular Classes for saving to relational database and vice-versa.
THIS PART OF PROJECT (TINY):
Almost completely written. No database needed, all data (little) supplied in delimited tables and already loaded. One form only, already done. Requirement is to create an output string indicating vaccines given to about 7 patients.
I need to see programming styles and skills of individuals to assure compatibility with me. To be done:
0 Send experience and references.
1 Configure Applications pages. "Globalize" and make times (if there are any) to UTC +/- offset.
2 Complete the error-handling routines.
3 Complete unfinished subs/functions (very few).
4 Correct my errors.
5 Change anything to improve this code.
6 Build program; Return everything to me.
THE GENERAL PROJECT:
Medical records project. All aspects of office use of medical records except financial. Program already written in VB6 or conceptualized, but I would like it re-written and updated to modern "look and feel" on high resolution screen (Windows 7).
Much database (DB2) activity with all transactions via stored procedures, all of which I can do where necessary (or have already done). Much Visual Studio form input/output. Many Classes, most already done. Menus. (Maybe graphics for toolbar.)
Can be done in pieces to ensure payment/cost is acceptable to programer and me.
Copyright must belong to me. Guarantee to me that everything will be destroyed on completion.
