I've installed cubecart v4 on a shared linux hosting account with GoDaddy and had to upgrade my php from 4 to 5 in order to do so.
I FTPed the cart up without any problems but now I'm getting an error telling me that Zend Optimizer is not installed when I try to access the site.
I've tried installing Zend Optimizer a number of ways, as suggested in forums and tutorials. I've even edited the [url removed, login to view] and .htaccess files as recommended by many as a way to fix this problem.
Godaddy had Zend Optimizer readily installed for everyone using PHP 4 but not PHP 5. Cubecart v4 requires PHP 5. Godaddy say you can install your own Zend Optimizer to be compatible with PHP 5. I cn't figure it out.
I need someone much more technically minded than myself to figure out this ridiculously simple but irksome problem. It should just be a little bit of thoughtful file editing/installation. Ideally, you will understand cubecart fairly well in order to skip over any additonal errors that flag up.
Please quote for fixing my pre-installed cubecart installation.
