I want to change my present website to a forex signals provider website. I will provide examples of existing provider websites that I like the look, feel and flow. I host with GoDaddy so the databases would be MySQL. I plan to use up to 25 sub-domains if needed and each would have a separate identical database with no more than 50 individual records for faster signal relay. I am having a trade copier script written to send my trade signals directly to the URLs so the databases would need to integrate with that script. The databases would then have to send the signals out instantly via email and/or SMS test. I also plan to use ClickaTell for the SMS text relays, so their API would need to be integrated into the databases.
The website will be fairly simple: five pages - home, about, results, members only, contact - the results page would show past results - the member's only page would show all trades, real time and past. The subscriptions will be through Paypal so the Paypal API would also need to be integrated. I will have a one week free trial also, but they have to sign up through Paypal.
Before awarding project, we would discuss how you would accomplish this and the schedule.
Until the MT4 data extraction copier script is finished, I will need to use an input page - this page will have a drop-down box with the currency pairs I trade and a text box labeled Open to enter the opening price: when I open a trade on MT4 platform on my computer, I will manually select the currency pair and enter the open price which is entered in the database. This information is immediately available on the members only page which accesses the database and the page is automatically updated with a Close box. Upon closing the trade on my MT4 platform, I will enter the close price which is posted instantly via the database to the member's only page and also the Results page, which is only for past results, not real time trade signals and on the Home which has a "Latest Results" area. The website is not overly complicated, no video, no flash, just text, graphics and the trade signals. But, I will be automating the input using a trade copier script for Metatrader that will send directly from my trade platform to URL databases the open/close data
home page with text and graphics - has a text box for a prospective customer to input their name and email address - upon clicking the button, a confirmation email is sent that links to the subscription page using Paypal. the home page also has a one week free trial button that does the same thing - plus a "result" box that will access the signals input database to show past trades
this website is not complex - very straightforward with few pages -
results page: shows the signals inputs from the database - all past trades, no present trades
contact page: self-explanatory
member's only page: to access this page, the person must enter the email address and password they chose at sign-up which is recorded in our database - free trial persons can access this page for one week only, then they either sign up or deleted from system
MUST be able to create two databases in MySQL in GoDaddy where my domain is: this information is posted to various areas of the website
1. signals input database:
currency pair: XXXXXX
buy/sell: BUY SELL
open price: [url removed, login to view]
close price: [url removed, login to view]
PIPS - the difference between open/close prices is calculated here - if the currency pair has five digits then the difference is calculated, then divided by 10 - three digit currency pairs are calculated exactly as they are
only when a trade is closed, will that record be posted in the "Recent Results" area on the home page (the last fifteen trades) - all closed trade results will be posted to the Results page regardless the number - will be a thousand or more after a year
the attached file shows when I placed a trade - it is at this point, I will send the open signal and the same for close
I like this website. Like the clocks in different time zones around the world at the top... Like how you scroll over the tabs on the homepage, the options menu displays downward, though I don’t need so many - Home, About Us, Members Only, Contact – maybe one more. Grey and blue doesn't scream retail. I do have a tendency to like an assortment of homepage pictures being displayed, maybe four or five vs a constant one.
Clean and professional looking... but a lot going on, maybe a bit of the retail feeling but flows
Not in love with the homepage pictures (too stretched out) but its simple and doesn't have a "too good to be true" feeling. Colors are muted, but also catch your eye
Like the overall layout and institutional tab. Live forex quote window is good. The two areas to the right of that would work for subscription and free trial. Very clean. Colors are muted and easy on the eyes, but could use a “splash” of color maybe
Also, I attached my very crude drawing of the manual input page I would use until the MT4 extraction script is finished. this info is instantly relayed from the MySQL database to clients via email and SMS text, and posted to the Member's Only page. ONLY when the trade is closed is the info posted to the Results page.
I will make this easy: I want the front end of my forex signal provider website to look like this - www.finfx.fi or www.smarttradefx.com - both are clean and professional. If you can do this, let me know. I have someone that can do the backend apps for the databases.

Hi Jack, We already had a discussion about another project from this website. I hope that we can discuss this one as well. Thank you! Best regards, Alex Phelps
