I'm looking for a well coded clone of a Color Palette Generator (similar to [url removed, login to view]), where users can enter the URL to an image (or upload instead), and have the PHP script output the image's primary color palettes in hex format for easy copy/ pasting. You must be a solid PHP coder skilled with PHP file handling/ uploading, image manipulation, the color wheel, and security/ efficiency implications. I'm looking for a sleeker, more feature rich version of Degraeve's generator, rather than just an outright clone. A quick summary of the core requirements of this project: 1) The script should let the user enter the URL to an image, and show the primary color palettes in hex format for easy copy/ paste. 2) In addition to the above, a file upload method as well. 3) Script should show on the same script page the last "x" color palettes generated in summary form (without the associated images), so a user can quickly see/ copy the color palette created by a user before him. See right hand side of [url removed, login to view] for the basic idea. Perhaps create a table and show each past palette inside a table row. Coder must take into consideration file handling of legacy uploaded files, scrutiny of the allowed file types, and efficiency (ie: prevent a super large image from crashing the script). Bonus may be rewarded for additional or unanticipated features and improvements.
